在展場時，我們會試著鼓勵觀眾向前聽聽看作品在說什麼，但蠻多人覺得很可怕不敢靠近，像是要逼進去鬼屋(？)
不同於大人，好幾組人類小孩玩到流連忘返，不感害怕，反而與作品親密接觸，甚至離開後還跑回來再玩。人類小孩玩到後來，超愉快一直抽棉花的時候，有其他觀眾來提醒是不是該去阻止，不過只要他們安全無虞並不會去特別阻止，因為他們和作品玩在一起的親暱模樣已經讓我幻視整個融為一體…
不過想到海文織女說：「棉花是作品的肉…」
這畫面是可愛？還是殘忍？

"It killed everyone (the big hand) and didn’t even throw them away, just left them at its feet."

At the exhibition, we tried encouraging visitors to step closer and listen to what the work was saying, but many people felt it was too scary and hesitated, as if being forced into a haunted house.Unlike adults, groups of children played endlessly with the work, showing no fear and instead interacting intimately. Some even left and came back to play again.While the kids were joyfully pulling cotton from the piece, other visitors suggested stopping them. However, as long as they were safe, I didn’t intervene because their intimate interaction with the work made me feel as if they had merged into one...But then I remembered what my friend said: "Cotton is the flesh of the artwork..."Was this scene cute or cruel?

「この作品はちょっとかわいい。」

「（大きな手がみんなを殺して、捨てないで足元に置いた。」
「本当にかわいそう。でもとても魅力的。」-「抱きしめられたいみたいに見える。」「蜘蛛みたい。六本木のあの芸術家の作品を思い出す。」
展覧会で、お客さんに近づいて作品の声を聞いてもらおうとしましたが、怖がって近づかない人が多かったです。まるでお化け屋敷に押し込まれるように感じたみたいです。でも、大人とは違って、何組かの子供たちは長い時間遊んでいて、怖がらず、作品と仲良く接していました。帰った後、また戻って来て遊ぶ子供もいました。子供たちが楽しそうに綿を引っぱっている時、ほかのお客さんが「止めたほうがいいのでは？」と話してくれました。でも、安全なら止めませんでした。子供たちが作品と一体化したように感じられたからです…。でも、友達の言葉を思い出しました：「綿は作品の肉…」この場面は、かわいい？それとも残酷？
